Bursitis Treatment Is There Any Treatment For Trochanteric Bursitis Besides Cortisone Injections?

Is there any treatment for trochanteric bursitis besides cortisone injections? - bursitis treatment

Or is there a treatment that can help? Surgery is unlikely, and injections are not a big relief. , Walking standing, stairs are too painful.

Hi

There are a few things that you should firstly do. Identify if the injury is a resukt of a pre-existing chronic nodition like arthritis or if the bursitis is caused by repetative strain.

So If you feel the it is due to a repetative strain injury then you must avoid the activities that are cauing your bursitis to flare up. Also you should try to
- Use ergonomic equipent when ever possible
- Stay within the comfortable range of motion for your joints
- Try to keep musclar control over the full motion being performed. No lose and floppy movements.
- Do not stress the joints with heavy and unbalanced loads
- Avoid any type of side loading and try to keep the motion of the limbs in line with eack other.
- Do not place any type of static load on the area of concirn... keep things moving.. even sitting for long periods of time can put stress on the hips.
- Cushion the joints when ever possible.

Whilst the above will give you immediate help you may also wish to have a look at my natural bursitis treatment that I discovered www.treatment-bursitis.com

Either way I wish you good health and a fast recovery.
